Monday - Friday…9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday…. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday…No Lessons – 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Closed for inclement weather and holidays)

Summary of Barn Etiquette & Safety
-
Always wear a protective helmet and appropriate attire when riding.

Do not “ borrow” anything without asking first!
-
Allow 20 – 30 minutes for proper care of your horse before and after riding.
-
Always report injury of horse(s) or rider(s) to barn staff on duty.
-
Help keep barn and grounds clean and litter free.
-
Pick up manure, hair and grooming utensils in grooming areas!
-
NO unsupervised jumping on Blackjack Farms property.
-
Please help to turn lights off when leaving barn and covered arena.

Use of the lounge is for your enjoyment – refrigerator is for daily use only!
-
Write and submit ALL Special Needs & Care ( SNC ) for your horse.
-
Write and submit ALL Supplement(s), Feed and Medication changes.
-
Be respectful. No running, playing or rough housing near arenas or barn.
-
Always supervise your children. Do not leave them unattended.

Always have guests sign guest register and release form (for riding).
-
If you answer the barn telephone, take a written message with a phone number!

Limit conversation with students or instructors during lessons.
-
Limit – 6 riders in covered arena at the same time.
-
No riding without signing a Riding Hold Harmless release form.

Please - Do Not bring dogs or pets to barn.

Advise staff of laundry room services / usage.

NO SMOKING within 100 feet OF ALL BARNS.

Always confirm times for farrier and vet visits.

All accounts should be paid in full at the end of each month.

This rate is used for horses brought onto the farm for pre purchase trial period and for out-of-town guests.
All horses transported to Blackjack Farms must show a negative Coggins
